Mission

The mission of the Central Valley Workers Center is to promote economic justice through strategic support for worker organizing, community education, and engagement. We seek to maximize the capacity of labor and community organizations to advance policies to support quality job creation, ensure community health, promote shared prosperity, and increase justice for working people, including immigrant workers.

The demographics of the Valley are changing, but the demographics of those in elected office are not. It is important to build political power for those communities disproportionately impacted by the lack of public resources and investment, a sustained civic engagement and leadership program is needed.
